All the best for a great experience…Send a postcard!
The Dept. of Sport Management looks forward to reading all about this exciting trip!
I can only imagine the excitement for those on this once in a lifetime adventure. Thank you for this blog for those of us who can only dream of such an adventure.
So excited for all involved. We will all enjoy seeing your photos and posts! Safe travels! Enjoy!
All SU participants are here at our departure gate, and waiting to board our Etihad airlines flight to Abu Dhabi. There is an abundance of positive energy around this group, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Everyone is eating, and conversing; discussing various things both related and unrelated to the adventure that awaits. Some of us are eating some familiar calorie dense food. Others are organizing carry on items and talking about strategies to pass the time on the flight.Wes started a recreational hacky sack league, but the league folded just minutes after initial inception. This is a great group. You’ll hear from us again very soon!
Abu Dhabi is our intermediate destination, of course… Kathmandu is our eventual and much anticipated destination.
Of course Wes started hacky sack! Too bad it folded quickly!
Namaste to all of you! The research endeavors are so exciting!
So impressed with the goals of this research and willingness of the students to explore the unfamiliar.
Everyday we look forward to reading the blog and following you on this journey of a lifetime.
Such an amazing opportunity, adventure and memorable experience for you all to pick up and go with! Totally enviable – the landscape, the people, culture – the research will be fascinating to log. Mountains hold such a special energy and Everest has a very strong hold for me; reading watching whatever I can . Almost too exciting to write… but enjoying the read from afar! I wonder what new thoughts and energies you will return with.
